Dog Rescue!!!

I’m watching on Fox News, live coverage of rescue teams attempting to rescue a dog that had gotten stranded in the middle of a flooded ditch. They said they were attempting to throw a lifesaver on the end of a rope down to the dog to see if the dog could somehow hold on to it so they could pull it to safety.

First of all, I’m pretty sure dogs don’t have hands. Secondly, would a dog lick his own butt if it was capable of deductive reasoning? Not likely, thus lending credence to my theory that the dog is probably just going to stare at the ring and wonder if he can eat it.

  1. That looks like it could be one of Jr Haynes dogs.Over the years we have been called to rescue various animals in various places. It’s all fine and good, I am an animal lover. However the moment it becomes something dangerous, the food chain of nature and common sense need to prevail over saving fido.

  2. Oh, one other thing, dont call the Fire Department to get yoru cat out of a tree. While they dont have a reverse gear, I have never seen a cat skeleton in a tree. They will come back down when you leave or whatever ran them up there leaves.

  3. Cat skeleton in a tree. That's pretty funny. Come to think of it, I haven't either. But if you are traveling on N.W. Main and come to the corner of North St., there is a house with a dog tied on a chain. He seems to be there day in and day out. I can't travel by there anymore. It is truly horrible to see this dog on that chain. Seems like its not inhumane to tie an animal up and let it have only so many feet of heavy chain. I am not a member of PETA, but I do have compassion. I would rather put the animal out of it's misery than have that chain around it's neck.
